About Harrison

Provisional Psychologist 

Harrison is a provisional psychologist who takes a person-centred and collaborative approach to supporting clients through life’s challenges. He believes that warmth, curiosity, and compassion are essential to the therapeutic process and strives to embody these qualities in his work.

 

As a Christian, Harrison is committed to walking alongside people as they navigate their daily-life, mental health, and faith. Valuing each person’s story, he aims to empower and support their growth, resilience, and wellbeing through evidence-based therapies. 

Harrison's fees as a provisional Psychologist are $100 per session in 2025. He is available Monday and Tuesday.

Why evidence- based therapies?

Our extensive experience as psychologists has led us to use only evidence based strategies and approaches. We value your individual story and want you to be sure you can make progress in meeting life's challenges. 

What do we mean by evidence based approaches? Well-studied, researched and proven ways to work through trauma, mental health issues and relationship problems to find solutions together.

CBT - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a supportive, evidence-based approach that helps people understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. With compassion and collaboration at its core, CBT gently guides individuals in identifying unhelpful patterns and developing healthier ways of thinking and coping. It's a practical, empowering process that honors each person's unique journey toward healing and emotional well-being. CBT is often used as part of a strategy for addressing depression and anxiety. 

Other evidence based strategies we use include:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)
